Dental Care
Dental disease is the most common disease in pets - by age three, ~80% of dogs and ~70% of cats suffer from periodontal disease, which causes chronic pain, tooth loss, and severe infections.
Untreated bacteria can enter the bloodstream, causing damage to kidneys, liver, and heart. For this reason we make dental care a top priority.

We can help

Perform Routine Dental Checks
This is an opportunity to check in on your pet's current oral health and discuss strategies with your vet as to how to keep your pets teeth as healthy as possible.

Create a Dental Estimate
Once the vet has examined your pets teeth one of our veterinary or nursing teams can create a dental estimate specifically for your pet. Unlike some other practices our estimates are based on extraction time, rather than per tooth.

Perform a Scale and Polish
Once a pet is under general anaesthesia the Vet performs a scale and polish which removes built up plaque and tartar. This also allows them to better assess the overall tooth health.

Extract Diseased Teeth
Extracting teeth is never our preference but if the tooth has evidence of disease it is going to progress to more serious complications for your pet. Our vet staff are all skilled with dental extractions as needed.

Follow Up
We include a free follow up visit 1 week after a dental, to check in with the vet, ensure that your pet has recovered and healed, and to plan for their long term oral health.
