
Dr Tim
Dr Tim graduated from the University of Queensland Veterinary School in 1995.
He has owned and operated Yamanto Veterinary Surgery since 1999. He started the Surgery with his wife Jenny, and 9 month old daughter Molly. Since then Dr Tim and Jenny have had two more children - Finlay and Eve. When Dr Tim isn’t at the Surgery he loves time with his family (including their 3 dogs), gardening, travelling and his long time love of Bagpipes.

Dr Lauren
Dr Lauren grew up in Cairns and graduated from James Cook University in 2016.
Since graduation she has worked in Orange, the Gold Coast and spent a year locuming around the UK. Outside of work Lauren has a love of basketball, reading, travel and Netflix. She has a cat called Evie, who was the clinic cat at her last job- we’ll have to make sure Pablo doesn’t go missing too!

Dr Sarah B
Dr Sarah was born in Brisbane, grew up in the Northern Rivers and graduated from UQ Veterinary School in 2023.
She is obsessed with cats and gingers in particular hold a special place in her heart. In her free time she loves crocheting, playing games with friends, and reading. She has two beautiful cats, Mango who is a sweet ginger boy and Honey who is the cuddliest tortie.

Dr Sarah T
Dr Sarah is from the Gold Coast and graduated from the University of Queensland in 2024, starting work here after completing a student placement with us.
After work Sarah enjoys baking, crafting and camping. She has recently adopted a beautiful cat called Chia, and her family dog Ruby is the goodest girl.

Dr David
Dr. David graduated from UQ in 1970 and has a wealth of experience that we are very lucky to have access to here at Yamanto Vet.
He has previously owned his own practice in the Mt. Tambourine region, but after selling a few years ago he now works with our team part time. When he’s not at the clinic you can find him maintaining his gorgeous native heritage garden, spending time with his family, and continuing to expand his veterinary knowledge through study and workshops.

Anna
Anna is a familiar face at the surgery starting as a qualified Vet Nurse with Dr Tim just 6 months after the surgery opened in 1999.
Anna studied at the Queensland Agricultural College at Gatton before it became the University of Queensland. She is now the Practice Manager. Anna has a son and daughter who have left the nest. She lives on acreage in the Scenic Rim with her husband, dogs and the comings and goings of many different farm animals.

Bec
Bec started at Yamanto Vet on a practical placement in 2017 while studying her Certificate 4 in Veterinary nursing, She joined the team permanently 6 months later working with us as a Veterinary Nurse.
Prior to that she spent 20 years working in the aged care industry. She is now our head Vet Nurse and hasn’t looked back. On her days off Bec can be found spending time with her two boys, Spencer and Ajay and her American Staffy, “Bundy”, Cavalier “Bruce”, as well as her two cats “Ryder” and “Callie”.

Evie
Evie has been with us since 2019 working as a vet nurse. She started working Saturdays while still in high school.
Now, after a year abroad she has come back to work as a Vet Nurse, while also starting her own grooming business in-clinic (Evie's Groom Room). Her favourite things to do are spend time with her friends, and play with her dogs.

Ameyah
Ameyah has always had a passion for pets and shown an interest in nursing since graduating high school in 2022.
In her spare time she enjoys camping and 4WDriving, as well as spending time with her dogs Alfie and Bronco, two cockatiels, and a large collection of other birds.

Brooke
Brooke grew up in the Adelaide hills until she moved to Queensland in 2009.
She has always had a love for animals big and small, and has 3 dogs that she loves to take camping and 4WDriving on weekends. She has found a love for her new career as a vet nurse and is excited to see where it takes her.

Lillian
Lillian, a pet and plant enthusiast, graduated from UQ with her Bachelor of Veterinary Technology in 2024.
In her spare time she loves to play her piano, read, craft with friends and also enjoys a bit of photography. Not to mention spend time with her three Jack Russells!

Tamara
Tamara grew up in the Lockyer Valley and has always had a love for animals and the outdoors.
After spending 5 years in South-West QLD and Central QLD working across cattle and sheep stations, she decided to move back to the area to start her journey as a vet nurse. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her 5 dogs, riding her horse and spending time with her family.

Georgie
Georgie is one of our part time weekend superstars, who spends most of the week working at the Department of Primary Industries.
When you see her in the clinic she is always up for a chat, especially on the topic of Border Collies. She herself has a hyperactive Border Collie x Kelpie, “Skye”, who is a regular visitor to the surgery.

Helena
Helena brings her talents to our weekend team while studying Veterinary Technology at the University of Queensland during the week.
She is a proud pug mum to her rescue, Pringle, who is equal parts adorable and chaotic. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, catching up with friends and family, and camping.

Pablo
Pablo joined our team in February 2021 as a three week old kitten.
He was handed in to us after being found at the local meat works, and after nursing him back to health, and surgically constructing his eyelids, we just couldn’t let him go! You will usually see him zooming around the clinic after his favourite toy - a lollipop, or sleeping in his cat tree behind reception.
